Worship

Worship is innately human. We may not see it as such, but nonetheless we are created to worship. God is rightly our object of worship, but sin would try to fulfill this desire by placing other things in the place of God. It is not a question IF we worship. but WHAT we worship. If we do not worship God, we will worship things, others, or self, which are really false Gods, or idols. This is corrupted worship. There is only one God (Deut. 6:4-6), and He desires we worship Him in spirit and truth (Jn. 4:23). To worship anything else is not true worship (2 Kings 17:15: Psalm 115:2-8).
